System Delivery Specialist Job Purpose:

Identify and implement innovative and user-friendly Systems & Technology in the Client Networks and NIC Back Office. Manage Business as Usual system enhancements, updates and incident by managing business requirements through to deployment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage business requirements for system enhancements, updates and incidents on the prescribed business tools and liaise with squads for development, testing and commercialisation.
  • Liaise with business stakeholders of systems around requirements, deployment and implementation of systems enhancements, updates and incidents.
  • Analyse business requirements, concepts and benefits of technology updates.
  • Plan delivery timelines, roadmaps and drive end to end delivery across teams.
  • Report on initiatives, roadmaps, progress and blockers and engage with Internal and external stakeholders through standard meetings.
  • Monitor BAU systems and mange escalations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Preferred Qualification:

  • Business Related Degree in Information Technology
  • Basic Project Management
  • Basic Agile and Scrum fundamentals

Minimum Experience Level:

  • 4 – 6 years related experience (finance, credit, business management, administration, project management)

  • Working independently or with a group to identify alternative solutions to a problem
  • Working with clients to solve client problems
  • Conducting root cause analysis
  • Sharing information in different ways to increase stakeholders understanding
