Sales Executive Job Description:

  • The main purpose of the position is to market and sell Cartrack products and services by offering the Cartrack value proposition and a ROI concept to SME and larger commercial customers.
  • Furthermore, the job holder must ensure that sales and revenue targets in specified areas are met and/or exceeded.
  • Engage at executive level and build and maintain long term relationships with these clients and maximise sales opportunities within them.
  • The Cartrack CRM system drives the above process and must be updated daily by the job holder.
  • Our mission is to contribute daily to earning the reputation that we provide all our clients and partners with superior quality technology and information supported by first rate service.

Responsibilities of this Position:

  •  Identifying, calling and selling the company products and services to potential commercial customers.
  • Develop technical knowledge within various commercial sectors in order to offer a complete value-added solution to potential customers
  • Understand the value of a full fleet solution and have an in-depth understanding of Cartrack’s value added products and services
  • Developing long-term customer relationships in order to promote and reinforce value propositions.
  • Identify Key commercial customers with high revenue potential
  • Identifying opportunities to grow the market share
  • Achieving monthly and yearly sales targets through planning and executing plans for key commercial customers.
  • Obtaining complete knowledge of competitor products and markets.
  • Daily update of the Cartrack CRM system

Minimum Requirements:


  • Grade 12 Senior Certificate (minimum)
  • Fleet / Logistics Certificate or Diploma (ideal)

Must Have:

  • Driver’s License
  • Clear Criminal Record

Minimum Experience:

  • Sales Representative / Sales Consultant 2 – 5 Years
  • Evidence of targets achieved
  • Working experience with CRM system
